Sunday School
Sunday School began September 9 at 9:30 AM for 3 year-olds – 12th grade. Download a Registration Form to print and return to the church, or save time and Register Online Right Now! Sunday School at Windsor Heights Lutheran Church offers a variety of developmentally appropriate formats for young learners:
- Pre-K (3 & 4 year-olds) uncover a new Bible story each week in a self-contained classroom.
- K – 4th Grade students participate in a "Rotational Sunday School" format where they travel to different learning centers and explore Bible stories in a variety of ways. Each grade is assigned a Shepherd who travels with the group to the various Learning Centers where the Teachers present the lesson.
- 5th – 8th Grade students utilize the Akaloo curriculum, which focuses on discipleship and service.
- 9th – 12th Grade (Breakfast Club) meets in the Youth Room for a theology and doctrine unit based on the popular “Lutheran Handbook II”.
