Adult Forum meets on Sunday mornings in Fellowship Hall from 9:30-10:30 am (Sept. - May). Join us for a cup of coffee and enlightening topics and presenters.

March 30 – Pastor’s Q & A
Here’s your chance to write down a question for the pastors to discuss in an open forum.  Pastors Carlson and Coughennower will facilitate a conversation based on your questions from the floor. 

April 6 – Piano Dedication
The newly donated grand piano in the sanctuary will be dedicated on April 5 & 6, along with a special recital held at 9:30 am.

April 13 – Means of Grace: Holy Communion
Holy Communion is central to the Christian faith.  Martin Luther saw Jesus present in, with and under the sacrament.  What does this mean?  Who should receive the sacrament?  How often should we celebrate the sacrament?  Come for an enlightening conversation.

April 27 -  Hope and Belonging For All: Issues  of  Hospitality
Have you ever looked through the lenses of the visitor when you park you car at Windsor Heights Lutheran Church?  What do they see?  What questions do they have?  How do they know this is a place of hope and belonging for them?  Come and be part of an eye-opening discussion about hospitality as it relates to the facility and fellowship.

May 4 – Living Lutheran – Renewal at WHLC
Pastors Carlson and Coughennower will facilitate a discussion on what it means for  the congregation to reclaim Lutheran tradition for the 21st century.

May 11 – Synod Assembly Preview
The Southeastern Iowa Synod will hold its annual assembly on May 16-18, 2008 in Iowa City.  "Living in God's Amazing Grace: Faithful and Bold" is the theme. Among other resolutions, a new bishop for the synod will be elected for a 6-year term.  Come and hear what discussions will be taking place at the assembly, and how our congregation related to the Southeastern Iowa Synod and the churchwide expression of the ELCA.
